Health insurance companies function from a disease model, meaning that in order to be eligible to use your health insurance you must be ill. They also typically don’t cover couples or marital therapy.

We believe psychotherapy, consultation, and coaching should be available to everyone, no matter where you fall on the wellness spectrum or what you and your loved ones are struggling with. While some of our clients are in the process of moving from illness to health, many clients are already well but searching for greater vitality, growth, and enrichment.

As a result, CTSA is not a paneled provider for insurance companies. However, as licensed therapists, our services are eligible for reimbursement under most health insurance plans. For clients who carry health insurance, we provide a monthly statement (called a Superbill) for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Some insurance companies are better than others about this – so it can’t hurt to ask about your “out-of-network provider” benefits. Should you have questions, we are happy to discuss this process with you.

CTSA accepts cash, check, credit card, and HSA/FSA. Payment is due at time of service.
